It is our pleasure to invite you all to an interesting and exciting National Conclave: 2019 on Sustainable CSR Projects in Rural India, scheduled to be held from 11th to 13th October, 2019 at Country Inn & Suites, Mysore, Karnataka.
This National Conclave is being organised by TGG Foundation, an internationally recognized not for profit organization with headquarters in Wayanad, Kerala, India in association with C.G. Bhakta Institute of Biotechnology (a part of Uka Tarsadia University), Surat, Gujarat, India.
A 2-Day Conference on Sustainable Development through CSR is intended to provide you a forum for discussion and networking with Corporate leaders, CSR practitioners, Professionals, Industry representatives, Social organisations, Academicians, Researchers, and Students.
The Conference on the Day-1 (11th October 2019) will address some of the major issues that are affecting our day to day life such as, Agrarian distress and ways to overcome; Chemical-free food production (organic farming), its preservation & value addition; Bio-waste management & its products; Sustainable housing; Cultivation of Medicinal Plants; PPP Model for Sustainable Rural Development in India.
The Conference on the Day-2 (12th October 2019) will address the role of PSEs/Other Cos./NGOs in creating infrastructure support for farmers. An opportunity will also be provided to the participants to present their case studies on sustainable CSR projects in rural India.
In the second half of Day-2, a meeting of members of the consortium (Formed on the day one of the Conclave) will be held, to explore the possibility of new projects wherein interested Corporates, Foundations & HNIs can participate. A networking session for NGOs/SHGs/Sustainability Practitioners/Student Startups will also be held for the implementation of programs across the country.
National Conclave - 2019 will also focus on exploring opportunities for students interested in the sustainable development of rural India. For this purpose, Study Exchange Program including Research & Innovation and Students' Start-ups will be supported by the Consortium formed by TGG Foundation and Universities during the conclave. Joint Studies/ Research programs focused to transform rural India, undertaken by students from various regions within India and abroad will be the highlights in our International Conclave in 2020.
The confluence of energy will be harnessed to create alliances for sustainable and responsible development in rural India through stakeholder engagement and networking.
