Harnessing India's potential in Technology, Science, Innovation and Research to create opportunities for individuals and organisations engaged in rural development projects by teaming up with Professionals, NGOs, CSRs, Researchers, Educational Institutions, Volunteering organisations, Sustainability practitioners, Innovators, Faculties, Govt. bodies and other contributors to implement various projects that can transform the life of people in rural India through responsible development.
TGG Foundation, a self-sustaining, not-for-profit, registered Public Charitable Trust with the exemption under section 12A & 80G of Income Tax Act, FCRA certified by Ministry of Home Affairs, a member of Niti Ayog (DARPAN) by Government of India and is certified by Guidestar India for transparency. It is a CSR initiative, by The Golden Greens with guidance from the experts and the value system created by the Management, with over 80% of the funds directly benefit the rural community, primarily through livelihood creation. The Foundation has partnered with Omprakash an NGO based in the US and also with The Deutsch-Indische Zusammenarbeit Baden-Württemberg e. V. (DIZ BaWü) an NGO based in Germany in addition to collaborating with Uka Tarsadia University for Sustainable Rural Development Research Programs. The Foundation has not availed any Govt. subsidies, not obtained any grants or donations for their day to day operations. Most of the funding has come in the form of interest-free loans from The Golden Greens with a 5-year moratorium to payback. The activities of the TGG Foundation started on 14th January 2012 in a small way and thereafter, constituted as a public charitable Trust in August 2014. This Trust aspires to bring remarkable changes in the life of the people across the world, through human transformation.

C. G. Bhakta Institute of Biotechnology (CGBIBT). a part of Uka Tarsadia University (B+, 2.74/4.00, NAAC Accreditation), was established in the year 2005 for imparting exclusive education in Biotechnology and Applied Science. It offers 5 year integrated programs, graduate, post graduate programs and doctoral research in Biotechnology and Microbiology. Since its establishment, CGBIBT has been striving to emerge as a centre of excellence in imparting career-based knowledge & training to the students to realize their professional ambition. The institute has been credited with holding two international conferences in 2014 and 2017. Several research projects sanctioned by central government agencies in the field of Biotechnology and Microbiology to the tune of 107 Lakhs. The Institute has to its credit over 250 research publications in standard refereed journals. In addition, CGBIBT has also taken up a mission to support the local farming community to grow profitable crops by supplying quality planting material. For this purpose a sophisticated Plant Tissue Culture lab with climate controlled greenhouse has been established which is accredited by DBT(NCS-TCP).
The following members have come forward to create a consortium for Corporates, Facilitators and Researchers to work together by forming strategic alliances to implement various CSR projects for the benefit of the rural community with a mission to transform rural India through responsible and sustainable developments.
Mr. Rupak Dayal
Mr. Dayal is a man of strong conviction with positive attitude. His initial grooming in Tata Steel is reflected in his bent of mind towards welfare of the people and the society. He took great interest in formation of National CSR Hub in TISS, Mumbai while working for Mazagon Dock and supported the cause of welfare of destitute girls, mentally retarded children, education for children of slum dwellers etc. Resolved many issues of farmers' welfare as Director Personnel of Western Coalfields Limited. He was also associated with construction of toilets under Swachh Vidyalaya Abhiyan in 22 districts of Madhya Pradesh Had Honour at the hands of Hon’ble Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Former President of India, in recognition of his dedicated services to the society.
He is responsible for managing the conference and inviting all eminent guests, speakers and participants. Mr. Dayal is also a member of the Ethics Committee.
Mr. Laiju is the Chairman and Managing trustee of TGG Foundation. He started his career in early 90s with Taj Group of Hotels in Delhi and have offered his services to some of the leading chain hotels such as Holiday inn crowne plaza, Maurya Sheraton and The Imperial Delhi. He has also completed two pre-openings in offbeat locations and post operations of a boutique resort called The Terraces in greater himalayas. He relocated to Wayanad around a decade ago and have been working with the farming community. His realisation have transformed him to develop projects that can have positive impact in the life of people in remotest part of our country, restoring biodiversity, ensuring equality, opting humanity first over religion, empowerment of underprivileged and so on.
He is responsible for creating strategic alliances for developing sustainable model project in remote areas through PPP Mode. Mr. Laiju is also a member of the Ethics Committee.
Mr. Harish Tiwari
Mr. Tiwari is an Agriculture Micro-Biologist and also have International diploma in ‘ Agriculture Research for Development’ from ‘ International Center for development Oriented Research in Agriculture’ ICRA , The Netherlands. He is presently the Director of WWOOF India company which is a network of more than 350 Organic Farmers spread across 16 states in India . He has over 20 years of consultancy experience in various rural development projects funded by SIDA, World Bank, IFAD, DBT and DC in 15 countries ie Europe, Africa and Asia . He has also worked in IFAD's funded Livelihood improvement projects in Uttarakhand State under Department of Rural Development namely Ajeevika and ILSP as State level Agriculture and Horticulture consultant.
He is responsible for getting the necessary resources to ensure highest level of participation . Mr. Tiwari is also a member of the Ethics Committee.
Dr. Prof. Krishnamurthy
Director Research & Analysis
Dr. R. Krishnamurthy is currently a Professor, the Director of C. G. Bhakta Institute of Biotechnology Dean of Faculty of Science at Uka Tarsadia University, Bardoli, Gujarat, India. He was conferred Fellow status award by Chartered Institute of Environmental and Public Health Management of Nigeria(CIEPHM) in April 2017 at Lagos. He has to his credit an European patent, written and edited important book chapters and more than 120 research publications and review articles in peer reviewed journals. He is a reviewer of many international journals and members scientific societies. He collaborates with overseas Universities for research work. Expanding his horizon not keeping himself limited to the Academia, he ventures in helping farmers.
He is responsible for selecting the research topics, shortlisting the profile of facilitating participants. Dr. Krishnamurthy is also a member of the Ethics Committee.
Mr. Anuj Mehra
Mr.Anuj Mehra, partner at Kashmir Art Palace, a leading Export house, in Delhi for Handicrafts Artifacts, is currently the Secretary of TGG Foundation. Simultaneously he is successfully carrying out the responsibility for setting of the RIM center for Human Transformation in Mysore. He works diligently towards creating strategic alliances for Member's benefits and raising funds for the Foundation. A graduate from Sri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi, he is a Pranic Healer, NLP Coach, Access-Bars healer a Journey Practitioner in the making. His compassion and empathy combined with more than 2 decades of experience in business has indeed enhanced his involvement, passion and dedication towards the Foundation.
